QUICK SUMMARY: We had an international theme for this CARDevotional in which we asked participants to bring in food from their various cultures and backgrounds and explain it to the group. Our family was moved to this theme by the teachings of the Baha'i Faith which regards mankind as one—that there is only one race the human race. We translated this lofty ideal into action by celebrating our differences and yet, during the devotional portion, connecting to our Creator—the common source of inspiration and existence.
We introduced 3 new games tonight, "International Jeopardy," "The Countries Game," & ,"The Shoe Scramble." Suffice it to say that they all joyfully got out of control and everyone enjoyed the festivities.
On a side note I was glad to bend my age 15+ rule to accommodate my cousin Nick who was visiting from Montreal for the weekend and was kind enough to lend us his prized collection of soccer jerseys which we used to embellish the otherwise barren walls. I'm sure he enjoyed himself.

That's me!

Guess who wasn't winning!

The food extended far to the right. It was deeeeelicious!

Take it easy Alica!

The quiet before the storm—of Praise.

I admit that I snoozed from 2-4am.

First of all, this was just a pose. There was a strict 3-foot rule in effect during the event.
