And out of the night came an evil and awful creature that no word could describe. Fortunately Catherine was there to give us hope. Car sick?

[above: we went to a Waffle House to use the bathroom since all the gas stations were closed. We see two white guys arguing with a Black guy, who was getting in his car to leave, while shouting things like, "I'm going to murda you!" He pulls away as the White guys sit back down inside, only to pull up right next to use a few metres away. He searches his dash board for a moment and gets out and walks toward the building. He comes within inches of our window boldly brandishing a 4 inch blade. He proceeds to enter the restaurant to confront the men. We were certain that we were going to witness a double Murda and hung around to watch. He talked with the guys for a while--who gave him their full attention--until we got creeped out enough to leave.
