Ruhi Book 4: The Life of the Báb and
Bahá'u'lláh Late 2002 / Early 2003
Ten of
us meet every week on Thursdays to study the lives of the Báb and
Bahá'u'lláh. The distinguishing pedagogy of a Ruhi study circle
involves the sharing and acquisition of knowledge; a group that while
guided along by a facilitator, eschews the typical teacher-student
dynamic, and replaces it with warm consultation and a focus on the
revealed texts. The arts are often used as a way to strengthen the
connections between the more abstract concepts in the material and the
more practical paths of applying these guiding principles.
Below you can see us painting scenes from the life of Bahá'u'lláh and
the heroic age of the Faith and putting on an elaborate puppet show.
If you've never had the chance to be involved in the Study Circle
process, don't delay...contact a Bahá'í in your area!
