Sector 1 Reflection Meeting
October 2, 2004
Background: Reflection meetings are a new event for Baha'is, began around the world in the last few years.
Instead of everyone going ape and doing a million different things in a million different directions, or conversely, a top-down administration dictating what
everyone should be doing, these meetings are truly an avenue to effective grass-roots action and true achievement where everyone can take personal ownership of
the process; a revolutionary way to handle human affairs and the management of human resources.
|
These Reflection meetings have become the learning matrix of the clusters. These periodic
consultations have enabled the believers to “reflect on issues, consider adjustments, and maintain enthusiasm and unity of thought.” Flexibility and
patience are encouraged, as essential prerequisites of the learning process.
Meetings of consultation held at the cluster level serve to raise awareness of possibilities and generate enthusiasm. Here, free from
the demands of formal decision-making, participants reflect on experience gained, share insights, explore approaches and acquire a better
understanding of how each can contribute to achieving the aim of the Plan. In many cases, such interaction leads to consensus on a set of short-term
goals, both individual and collective. Learning in action is becoming the outstanding feature of the emerging mode of operation. |

Although there are few pictures, there was enough delectable
Persian food for over 50 people! I had 3 full plates and felt sick the rest of the night. Would I have done it again? You bet! I love Persian food!

Sherri organized incredible youth/children devotions that were
moving, touching, and inspiring.

He was actually a professional drummer in disguise.
Me going over the stats. "More outward-looking orientation
people! Invite your friends!"

 Institute report by Andisheh.

The youth applying the Writings into their actions for the
next 3-4 months.
Even the adults were getting into it!

turned him down.

Yes, I came up with this interesting perspective.
